My experience spans over 15 years working with children, teens and adults, providing psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families and groups. I have successfully treated clients of all ages, from many different ethnic, cultural, sexual-orientation, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I have provided these services in agency settings, high school and university campuses as well as through private practice which I established in 2003. I have managed and clinically supervised counseling interns working in a community clinic providing early infant intervention for parents through a program I developed for at risk parents in Marin County. I have experience working with abused women for a domestic violence crisis clinic and 24 hour hot-line in San Francisco. I have been trained in and conducted psychological and intellectual assessments for under privileged children and adolescents in San Francisco. I obtained my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College in 1997 and my Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Wright Institute, Berkeley in 2003. I served as a board member for the Marin County Psychological Association for 4 years. Currently I volunteer with adolescents at the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Beach providing pro-bono counseling for teens and families. I am a former member of A Home Within - an agency that provides pro-bono work for foster care children and teens. I also participate in a professional peer consultation group on a regular basis. I am licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of California. My license number is PSY 20102 and can be verified by visiting the California Board of Psychology website www.psychboard.ca.gov |
